Water Methanol Injection (AEM WMI) + Intercooler Spray | Evo X | Installation | Virtual Dyno

Описание к видео Water Methanol Injection (AEM WMI) + Intercooler Spray | Evo X | Installation | Virtual Dyno

Follow to see how I installed AEM's water injection system that I modified a bit to spray on the Intercooler as well as inside the throttle body.
Also, I only plan to use water and no methanol. The reason is that I don't chase better power with this mod, but just to have a piece of mind especially for the warmer seasons.
I faced few difficulties, mainly due to the difference in standards (We use Metric here).

Overall, a great addition to the car, the performance improvement is quite small, but I feel much safer driving it in hot weather (as it was in during filming - hovering around 40C).

Some tips:
Definitely buy the additional solenoid (or just another one but there must be one) especially if you mount the nozzle below the level of
the tank. Otherwise the water will leak in the intercooler and you will have sad days.

In terms of power gains:
Depends on the water temp really.
If out put water that came out of the fridge, you will see some good power gain and the MAT may even go lower than IAT as you saw in the video.
