Cigar Description:
Normally other cigar makers go to E.P. Carillo and get them to roll their cigars, however this time Perez-Carillo let Oliva cigars, based in Nicaragua, produce the Allegiance range for him.

The Sidekick was the result of a collaboration between the two cigar making companies, and as you would expect it's impressive. Cigar Aficionado has recently (June 2024) rated it at 88.

A box pressed cigar, medium to full bodied,the Sidekick uses a rich brown Ecuadorian Sumatra seed wrapper, the binder leaf and the filler leaf are both from Nicaragua.

The profile is creamy with notes of pepper, leather and roasted coffee mingle with hints of burnt oak, some nuttiness and vanilla.

For those who appreciate Carillo cigars this is an excellent, well-made robusto that will give around 40-60 minutes of smoking pleasure.
