The fact that they got Yuzo Koshiro to make this piece really says a lot about his understanding of the Genesis soundchip back in the 90s. How the music across different games is integrated into this is phenomenal; worthy of belonging to one of the best mini consoles that got saved from being another AtGames disaster.

I was actually there when the backlash came on Twitter, and I did voice my disdain for AtGames returning to make this. Thankfully, SEGA changed their minds and hired M2 as the emulation powerhouse behind the SEGA Genesis Mini, a decision universally praised by everyone. The rest, is history.
