[CHARACTER BIOS - SPOILERS BELOW]

seam, pronounced “shawm,” is a cat-like shopkeeper selling “odds and ends” in deltarune chapter 1. they used to be a magician in the royal court alongside the devious jevil, however once jevil began to go mad and say certain things about the world being all a game, seam was forced to lock him away in the king’s basement. ever since, seam’s outlook on the world has grown, as they say it, “darker, yet darker.” they talk about the end of the world and how nothing holds much meaning anymore. however, upon hearing the player talking about jevil, they give the player a piece of the key to jevil’s cell, saying that some chaos might bring some fun to the world before it ends.

ragatha is one of the six people trapped within the digital circus, her outward appearance being that of a raggedy anne style ragdoll. among the group, she’s the most optimistic, willing to go on the various wacky adventures the circus has in store and trying her best to keep spirits up during times of crushing despair. though overall friendly and seemingly happy, under her surface is a deep, repressed anxiety. she uses the adventures and spreading of kindness as a crutch in order to not think about her current situation, being forever trapped in the digital world, knowing that if her mind thinks about it too much and breaks from the pressure, she’ll abstract, resulting in her being locked away in the circus’s cellar for seemingly forever.
