EPFO New Rules 2025: The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has made it mandatory for its members to activate the Universal Account Number (UAN) through the Umang mobile app. It is going to start from August 7. The EPFO has clearly stated that now UAN can be activated only through the Umang app through Aadhaar Face Authentication and services may be discontinued for members who do not do so.

EPFO New Rules 2025: कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन यानी ईपीएफओ (EFPO) ने अपने मेंबर्स के लिए उमंग मोबाइल ऐप (Umang App) के जरिए यूनिवर्सल अकाउंट नंबर (UAN) एक्टिवेट करना अनिवार्य कर दिया है. इसकी शुरुआत 7 अगस्त से होने जा रही है. ईपीएफओ ने साफ कहा है कि अब सिर्फ आधार फेस ऑथेंटिकेशन (Aadhaar Face Authentication) के जरिए उमंग ऐप से ही यूएएन एक्टिवेट किया जा सकता है और ऐसा न करने वाले सदस्यों के लिए सेवाएं बंद की जा सकती हैं.
