Hollywood once again takes residence in the mountains. Production is going on on the feature film, Shadows On The Wall.. The Obsidian Collective started filming on various locations in Western North Carolina this month. The movie is a Sci-Fi Suspense story that follows a college student as he builds a device capable of reaching beyond our planet in unimaginable ways. Unfortunately, his creation has unintended and ominous consequences. The film features Tim Fox, Chris Kauffmann, and Nicole Lee Durant in the lead roles. For Durant, this is a bit of a homecoming. She is a Buncombe County native, now living in Los Angeles.This movie project is also using some other local talent in some of the roles. And it is creating more than two dozen jobs for the community. You can follow the film making on the movie's website, at www.shadows-movie.com.
