It is perhaps the most eagerly awaited Sports Utility Vehicle ever announced -- The Bentley Bentayga.
First introduced at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show, the original concept for the machine was a critical disaster. So the team was very publicly forced to go back to the drawing board and redesign the entire machine.

From the very beginning the goal is simple – to expand Bentley’s customer base while retaining the marque’s illustrious core values. This is no ordinary task, but the Bentayga is no ordinary SUV either.

Powered by the brands famed W12 cylinder engine and covered in hand stitched leather, handcrafted wood and a plethora exquisite materials, the Bentayga aims to become the fastest SUV ever built with a top speed of 187 miles per hour.

For some it’s total sacrilege. For others it’s a time appropriate response to changing market demands. What nearly everyone can agree on is that this is the riskiest proposition ever imagined by one of England’s most storied marques.

The success or failure of the machine will either garner tremendous rewards or absolutely dire consequences for one of the most luxurious icons of British motoring.
