San Diego Comic-Con is the first and oldest Comic-Con convention in the world. It occurs on one long weekend in July, every year, at the SD Convention Center in downtown San Diego.

The San Diego Comic-Con attracts nearly 200,000 visitors, 1,000 exhibitors, and some 2,000 hours of programming. It is a place where fans of science fiction, fantasy, comic books and movies, pop culture all come together to celebrate their passions.

One of the major aspects of Comic-Con that I've always been fascinated by has to do with cosplayers. Cosplay is the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game.

I was lucky enough to contact cosplayers who were attending Comic-Con San Diego this year and asked if I could follow them around and see what it takes to "cosplay" for the day.
