I've purchased fertile hatching eggs many times now from some of the best breeders I know of. Sometimes I've had surprising great hatch rates, and other times not even one chick to show for it! It's a gamble, and can be a costly one, but I still believe it's worth taking the risk. Ive gotten some of my best birds that way.
USPS is seriously rough on eggs. Most of the time you have a least a few broken eggs, but even if they are not broken, the air cells are often damaged from shaking.
Sometimes they are totally detached, as I'll show you. Other times they end up oddly shaped, but strong chicks can still hatch!
I've also gotten a newer version of the Nuture Right 360 incubator. I've done a couple of reviews on them. I've had issues with them, the latest is the fan going out in one of them.
I'll update after this hatch and let you know if this version works better!
