Into The Storm – Crazy Augmented Reality Outdoor

To promote the release of Into the Storm, we decided to bring the storm to Sydney’s streets.

We turned an unsuspecting piece of street furniture into the eye of an unexpected storm. Using augmented reality technology the panel was transformed into a window through which pedestrians could watch a storm unfold, filled with thunder striking local buildings, and cars crashing down to earth.

The film sees a group of high school students document the events and aftermath of a devastating tornado. Directed by Steven Quale, starring Richard Armitage, Sarah Wayne Callies and Jeremy Sumpter.
