This video will provide a number of different strategies to help teachers transition between their activities. Some of the strategies included providing advanced warning before starting a new classroom activity. In the younger grades, many teachers use classroom transitioning songs to help save time. The time that is saved can be used to increase learning. All classroom time is valuable. Many other strategies are included, as the count down from five strategy, and making the classroom transition a challenge to the students. Teachers should have visual schedules available for students, this will prepare students and give them an idea of what it to come next in the lesson.
