Snow Leopards

Today is International Snow Leopard Day, so I finally was motivated to make this video featuring footage from the Chattanooga Zoo 3 years ago. Still, this is probably the best footage I've ever gotten of my 2nd favorite cat.

Arguably the world's most elusive big cat, the legendary "ghost of the mountains" is found across the mountains of 12 Asian countries. Snow leopards have been recorded at altitudes of up to 20,000 feet, possibly even close to Mt. Everest. Snow leopards can be 7 feet long and leap up to 50 feet!
