Showa Godzilla VS Legendary Godzilla- Who Would Win? With the recent Godzilla VS Kong film making waves in popularity over the past month, a lot of people have become interested in the power showcased by the Legendary Godzilla and have tried comparing him to other incarnations of the atomic beast. After his recent bout with Kong and the mechanical menace, Mechagodzilla, he has become more powerful than ever before.

However, how would he fare off against the original Showa Godzilla? The very first and one of the smallest iterations of Godzilla that had his own fair share of iconic encounters and impressive feats. Would Legendary Godzilla wash him with ease, or would the smaller-scale nuclear lizard be able to defeat his enormous cousin? I go over a ton of information within the movies, books, comics, and other stuff to determine which of these two would be more likely to come out on top.
