The Museum of Printing in Haverhill, Massachusetts in the northeast USA is a delight. And if you are curious about the history of bibles, printing presses, typewriters or desktop publishing there will be exhibits here to intrigue you as well.

My name is Jean Kropper- I am a paper engineer, direct marketer, designer and book artist and live in Sydney, Australia. I volunteer at the Penrith Museum of Printing, 1 hour west of Sydney. Hence, my interest in how the story of the print industry is told. Originally, I am from Boston, Massachusetts and I was back there visiting family and made a trip to the museum.

Frank Romano kindly gave me and my mother a private tour. This is the story of my visit, recounted at the ASOOF, Australian Society of Old Friends Luncheon on 19 March, 2024 at The Sydney Rowing Club, Abbotsford, NSW Australia.
