Madrid Flash Freestyle Longboard Unboxing - First Impressions and After 1 Day Review

Sup yall! First things first, here you will meet my little sister Annika. I introduced her to longboarding a month ago, and now she's my longboard buddy. She's in the video because I took her room to film.

Welcome to the unboxing of my first ever dance board: the Madrid Flash Freestyle Longboard. I bought this board on skatepro.com for 205 CAD$, free shipping and no taxes! It's an excellent deal! The board is 46 inches long and 9.25 inches wide, which is ideal for longboard dancing. The graphics are dancing lobsters, which is true to the color of the board: Rock Lobster. The wheels are Mambos, and they offer a very smooth and creamy ride on any type of surface. The bearings are ABEC-7, so they are decent for longboard dancing. The deck is made out of maple and pre-gripped all over. More details about the board will be on the link to the board on SkatePro.

In the video, you will see some test runs of me and my sister on the board, cruising around our neighborhood in the span of 24 hours.

Overall, I am loving my board. But here are some other points that you might want to check before getting it.

-Deck is a little stiff and heavy because it is made out of maple. Depending on what you want to do with the board, you might prefer a flexier board, but I personally like it better on the stiffer side. In no means does a stiff board not allow you to do all the tricks that you want, however. :)
-There is grip tape all over the deck, so you may find that it's hard to glide your foot around it when performing longboard dancing steps. However, it takes a lot of practice and some getting used to.
-The bearings may take a while to break in because of the heaviness of the board.
-The trucks come pretty tight right out of the box, so you may want to have a skate tool in hand to loosen up the bolts and pins.
