During the #CGNewYork conference, Lawrence discussed with distinguished panelists how healthcare and life sciences can be improved by integration with the BSV blockchain. As progress cannot be made due to the healthcare industry’s fragmented databases, EHR Data aims to build a unified database where all information can be gathered and stored on chain.

“We are going to create a global patient record and give people control over their healthcare data,” Lawrence said. He also mentions how most providers and individual healthcare users do not have their own data. With the #BSVblockchain, such data can be collected and stored due to BSV’s scalability.

With the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, Lawrence explained how the problem of data collection and safeguarding is critical. The pandemic shed light on how people should have access to their own healthcare data and use them when deciding on everything, from insurance to other healthcare decisions.
