Gas Exchange in Fish Tutorial. AS Biology WJEC EDUQAS

In this video I cover gas exchange in fish. I explain the structure of the gills of a bony fish, this includes:
• Gill filaments
• Gill lamellae
• Gill rakers
• Afferent and efferent arterioles.
I also explain the counter-current flow and the parallel flow of gas exchange in bony and cartilaginous fish. I address several questions at the end of the video.
