CSX Herzog Train emerges from Lambs Ferry/Grant's Bend Tunnel

Train Buddies, Mike and Chris, visit the CSX Lambs Ferry Tunnels in Ryland Heights, KY.

The tunnels are along the old L&N Main Line. We believe one used to serve Northbound traffic while the other served Southbound. The tunnels are also known as the Grant's Bend Tunnels.

We highlight the southern area of the tunnels along Lambs Ferry Road and venture part way into the unused, trackless, tunnel that used to serve CSX Main 2.

Before calling it a night we get lucky and catch a Southbound CSX consist of Herzog cars through the tunnel.
