A good haircut can completely change how your hair behaves and shave time off your routine! My client has very dense hair with multiple curl patterns, which can be intimidating to cut, and has led to uneven, choppy results. I’m blending it all together with long round layers, over-directing the sides and crown to preserve the length so we can get to her goal of longer hair when curly!

Having different shrinkage levels/multiple patterns does not warrant an uneven haircut - the traditional angles just have to be adjusted (geometry and ability to visualize shape). 💇🏽‍♀️ It’s my personal preference to curly cut on wet hair, but every stylist is different, so don’t act up in someone’s chair if it’s not theirs! 😌
