Dr. Harvey was thirty years old and worked in a hospital in New York. Later, he joined a company that sold medicines.

When he moved to England, he couldn’t work as a doctor because his training was from America, so he continued working for the American medicine company. In 1905, he moved to a house on Crescent Avenue and got married, but he and his wife were not happy together.
