The history of st Mary's church, it was built towards the end of the 13th century from stone and ashlar rubble.

The church itself was damaged by a fire in 1964, but the following year it was restored.

In 1709 someone left 120 pounds which would have been a lot back then to buy a house for the vicar.

It was so peaceful and relaxing walking around outside, inside the church I found a memory tree where people can write small messages to the ones they have lost.
