May 3rd, 2023 and Katie was up to bat for her first hunt of the year! Limited schedules makes it so that we have to be on our game and ready to make moves when needed, BUT, the 3rd was a day to sit tight! Katie and I have Turkey hunted 3 times together, and are now sitting 4 harvested in 3 hunts….and honestly that should be 5 and 3, but that’s on me for not calling a shot last year. To say she’s the double charm is an understatement!! Watch as our hunt unfolds and we have to be quick on a gun swap to get it done!

Only a week of Iowa’s Turkey season left, and our family has a couple tag to fill as we transition to planting food plots and getting ready for deer season this fall! Oh, and we can’t forget all the fishing to be done this spring and summer!
