Hog Slat Chess Nursery Flooring

Hog Slat manufactures our blue plastic flooring for pigs with a high-tech injection molding process using virgin quality polypropylene co-polymer to create a durable, long-lasting plastic flooring solution for nursery pigs and farrowing barn installations. Our plastic swine flooring is available in multiple grid configurations and sizes that will adapt to any building scheme, whether it is a new construction or barn remodeling project.



Hog Slat's Chess nursery flooring features high-tech injection molding from virgin quality polypropylene to create and durable, long-lasting floor. Self-cleaning 3/8" slots arranged in a multi-direction pattern provide step-safety in any direction for pigs weighing up to 130 pounds. The carefully engineered design permits wider spans, reducing the number of support beams to reduce installation costs.



24 Corrosion resistance, fiberglass Delta beams interlock with flooring sections for extra security. Their triangular shape reduces manure buildup while providing high load bearing and buckling stability. Flexible installation customized to the exact pit width is accomplished by cutting the end section of an individual flooring piece and starting the next row with same cut off section.



Each flooring section locks securely into the adjoining pieces and the Delta beam below, creating a seamless flooring surface. At the end of each run, the flooring is cut to an exact width and saw cuts placed in the support webbing accommodate to a Delta beam support. Hog Slat's Chess flooring easily adapts to any building scheme.
