In this video, we are going to look at developing the functionality of the Video detail page. We will first create an API in our Laravel app to fetch Video details. We will use Route model binding to load the video in the controller and after basic checks we will send the Video object back to the client.

Inside Next JS, we will do SSR (Service side rendering) of the Video detail page. We will make the API call from the Server side and fetch that data. And based on the data the page will render the Video details along with a Youtube video player. We will also see how we can use the React Youtube player plugin to render the Youtube video based on the video id that we are sending as a computed value.
