Vladimir Putin just voted to pass a "LGBTQ+ propaganda" law that prevents libraries from allowing minors to check out books containing LGBTQ+ content. Sorry, did we say Putin? We meant the Idaho House of Representatives. To prove it's not about protecting children and it's really about LGBTQ+ erasure, Rep. Bruce Skaug said, “I would rather my 6-year-old grandson start smoking cigarettes tomorrow than get a view of this stuff one time at the public library or anywhere else." It seems members of the GOP think that if they sing "We Don't Talk About Homo" often enough, the gays will go away. It didn't work for Bruno, either.
