This is a cut from Russian TV Channel “CTC”. “Why I came to Kursk…” , “The Miracle”! I had a call from conductor Sergey Proskourin of the Russian Chamber Orchestra in Kursk 2 days before my cancer operation at “SÖS” hospital in Stockholm lying in bed as I was at this very moment reading Alexander Soltjenitsyn’s “The Cancerclinic”. I prefered to dive into what had to be done inside of me to know as much as possible about it. I remembered my mum once mentioning this book by Soltjenitsyn and I knew I had seen it under the bed where my son Sam slept in a box with books…(he didn’t sleep in this box where I found the book) After this phonecall where this “Sergey” from Kursk jokingly said “do you know that you’re Big in Russia Mr Agdur?” (“Big?”: I had been introducing the Table Hockey game and the way to play it in a huge factory building of “Citroën” in Moscow way back in the late 80:ies & the beginning of the 90:ies and I had visited dear friend, icehockey journalist Igor Kuperman (first one to interview Nedomansky after he became prof. in USA) with family in Moscow and invited him to represent Russia in the very first World an European Championship ever to be played…that I’ve done but “big”? To hear this suddenly on the phone, I thought it was a joke… Sergey Proskourin telling me they would invite me to come to Kursk for Master Classes in TableHockey and the Russian Chamber Orchestra to play my music there…After this phonecall I started crying thinking my mother in the great heavens must have arranged this in order for me to feel a little bit better before this difficult operation. A tumor in my intestines in the rectal with the size of 5 cm X 4 cm was gonna be taken away together with 23 "lymfkörtlar" by surgeons Yngve Raab, Göran Heinius and Anna Lindelius at Södersjukhuset, Stockholm, Sweden. Yngve Raab being one of the best on operations of this kind as a leader of this team working carefully for 7 hours arranging after the tumor’s been taken away an "Ileostomi" a plastic bag on my stomach where the shit was gonna come out (that’s Not the way God planned it...) for 9 months until they would bind the intestine together again an' let go of this plastic bag in order for the wounded area where the tumor had been situated to heal properly. Alexander Makushkin, Sergey and Ania Proskourin visited me after my operation where I was lying at "Södersjukhuset" in Stockholm trying hard to heal, regain some energy and try to put myself together again. My Children and the will to live on made me Move On and On like you’ll never know…
