In this video, I discuss how I had my baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This can be a difficult and emotionally taxing time for parents, so it is essential to be as prepared as possible.

First, a little bit of background. I had my baby via emergency c-section after he stopped moving and growing in the womb. This is called intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), and it can be dangerous for both mother and child. After he was born, he has immediately whisked away to the NICU.

The staff in the NICU are experts at caring for premature and sick babies. They will do everything they can to ensure your baby gets the best possible care.

One of the most important things you can do is bond with your baby. Even though they may not be able to communicate with you yet, they can still sense your love and connection. Spend as much time as you can holding, cuddling, and talking.
