Green Beret Guide to Surviving Sniper School | Tactical Rifleman

I wanted to start a new series of videos, giving pointers and insight into attending (and graduating) some of the different military schools that I have attended over the years. There may be some of you out there, young new members of our military, that are looking for an edge to making it through. While there may be others, past their prime or not inclined, that may just want a glimpse into the events, tasks, and even adventures that many of these military schools contain. Even something as simple as Airborne School leaves every new paratrooper with a couple of memorable moments that they will share with friends and family for the rest of their days.
This week, I am going to start with Sniper School. Over my 25 years of military service, including over a decade as a CIF/CRF Sniper; I have a lot of time behind a sniper rifle. To get there you have to attend Sniper School; in my case, many sniper schools. I would always jump at the chance to take any new shooting course; especially sniper courses.
We are gonna talk a bit about attending as a student. We'll skip talking about the psychological evaluation and all the other hoops you have to jump through before attending; and we will focus on some of the different subjects taught and the training itself. I'll share a couple personal stories to keep it from being too boring. No, we wont share anything classified or talk about any tactics that the enemy could use against our forces.
