Birmingham Bin strike- Zoe Mayou From Unite Talks About The Strike action

Today (Monday January 6) marks the first day of a 12-day strike planned across all of Birmingham. The union added that the strike plan was "a result of the council’s decision to abolish the safety critical Waste Recycling and Collection Officer (WRCO) role". The council told BirminghamLive they are "continuing to work through the dispute resolution procedure."
