Oman Air : Muscat to Jeddah | Boeing 737-800 (WY671 | A4O-BAB)

Experiencing a last-minute equipment change once again on Oman Air, the second time on this sector from Muscat International Airport (MCT) to Jeddah King Abdul Aziz International Airport (JED), downgraded from an expected Boeing 787-8 to a 737-800

It is advisable never to expect a wide-body aircraft when flying with Oman Air (unless you flying long haul to Europe/Far East)
I've been trying to catch their Boeing 787 Dreamliner ever since January 2016 and is one of the main reasons why I did book this sector with them even though I did have to face a similar situation in 2016. Expect the service to be slow (which is generally the case on WY) but the again credit goes to the friendly crew on today's flight! It was a very pleasant welcome by the crew who were camera-friendly in this sector and had no problem with a flight review being made

To be honest, either WY widebody would have been great and its a shame to be downgraded yet again on the same sector for the second consecutive time
