How To Save And Treat A Dog Suffering From Dry Eye? You NEED To Do This! | Vet Explains

Описание к видео How To Save And Treat A Dog Suffering From Dry Eye? You NEED To Do This! | Vet Explains

Is your dog blinking excessively looking as if he is trying to pinch his eyes closed? Do his eyes look puffy? Did you notice any gooye yellowish discharge from the eyes and does your dog seem to be in a lot of pain? Your dog may be suffering from Dry Eye!

Watch this video as I’ll be explaining exactly what Dry eye in dogs is, what the clinical signs, causes, diagnosis and treatment options are as well as what the chances of recovery for your doggo can be.

If your dog seems to be developing more pain as the treatment goes on, it is really important to take your dog back to the vet as soon as possible because of the fact that dogs with dry eye are predisposed to severe corneal ulceration if not attended to early enough.

If the condition is diagnosed too late in the course of the disease and extensive corneal scarring has already developed, then there is, unfortunately, little that can be done to reverse it. So if you notice that your dog showed any of the clinical signs mentioned in this video, then take him to the vet as soon as possible to get it checked out.
