The base map provided in the Holley Terminator X software for a naturally aspirated SBF leaves a lot to be desired.

In this video, we review idle, part throttle, and wide open throttle timing numbers used in a factory Ford Mass Air 5.0 A9L calibration. Then we do our best to create a timing map in the Holley software that replicates these settings. This should result in much better off idle response, safer peak timing to use initially until your fuel is dialed in, and a more stable idle.
