Astonishing Journey into God: The Dark Night of St Teresa of Calcutta | Fr Paul Murray OP

When Mother Teresa's private writings were published some years ago, many were shocked to learn that in her own life of prayer, Teresa of Calcutta experienced little consolation, and actually went through long periods of spiritual dryness. In this talk, Fr Paul Murray OP, who knew Mother Teresa well, discusses this dimension of her spiritual life, and outlines its value for us in our own lives of prayer.

Fr Paul is a member of the Irish Province of Dominican Friars, and was for many years a professor of spiritual theology in Rome. He is the author of 'I Loved Jesus in the Night: Teresa of Calcutta, A Secret Revealed'.
