Yesterday at the HCS World Championships 343 Industries announced and confirmed that the next Halo game will be in Unreal Engine 5 and the officially 343 Industries would be rebranding as Halo Studios and that this is a new dawn for Halo. However I disagree, as this is still the same studio, and the same people that has been running Halo for the last 10+ years.
This does not fix the issues around the writing and story.
This does not fix the issues around cheaters in multiplayer.
This does not fix the issues around the store and microtransactions.
This does not fix the issues around the focus on competitive over making a fun game for all players.
Please keep this in mind before you start getting overly excited...
