Finch is a one year old Bernedoodle that came to us to learn accountability for his commands and how to work through distractions. Finch knew a lot of commands but, as his owner wants to work towards a service dog certification, she needed help building up his impulse control around people and in large distractions. Keeping focus was hard for such a friendly, young guy. Finch also struggled with jumping on people and only working for commands when treats were involved.

During his time with us Finch learned to perform all commands on and off leash through a variety of environments and under large amounts of distractions. He can now Heel instead of tugging on the leash, has reliable recall, improved on his guest manners, and is on an appropriate track towards becoming a service dog.
