Magic The Gathering card prices continue to climb, and I don't think there's a clear reason as to why - most likely because it is a combination of factors. But, the question is: Will prices come back down? That's the million dollar question, but if history has shown us something it is that prices will not return to previous lows.

Hopefully those staples that are climbing can continue to get reprints. But, if the cards you want are on the reserved list...or pseudo reserved list cards you may want to think about springing for that one copy you do want sooner than later. I do hope prices come down, but as more MTG investors and financers get involved in buying up Reserved List card who knows if or when that may be.
