Classic 350 December Cross Country (& heated glove workout)

Описание к видео Classic 350 December Cross Country (& heated glove workout)

Out on the Classic 350 from Durham to Skinburness on the west coast. 200 mile Christmas Card delivery to my Auntie. Started out at 3C in Durham, 1C by Alston and even colder on Killhope and Hartside tops, plus a smattering of fog and rain. On the way back it was a degree or two warmer but wetter.

The long cold and damp trip gave my new heated gloves a real good test/workout (Ride Iron Winter Waterproof Rechargable Heated Gloves). I had them on the lowest setting on the way out and they lasted around 3 hours on battery, so not too bad. On the way back I pugged them into the Classic's USB port, which worked fine. As mentioned the journey was cold and quite long and my hands still got a little cold after 50-60 miles but definitely not freezing and I could still feel my fingers and operate switches fine. My hands would have gone numb and painful by then with my 'normal' winter gloves. I accidentally pulled out the cables twice on the way back and immediately felt the cold creeping back in, so they certainly do make quite a difference.

Not really trying to Vlog or anything, just me messing about on my motorcycle and playing with recording gear etc. No talking just riding. Normally in and around County Durham and surrounding counties (NE England)

Bike mods: Pretty standard this one ...so far. Only has bar end mirrors and tank knee pads (came like that) and now with DNA filter. There's a couple of new relays and I cleaned the rest ...I've also moved the gear lever up one spline. It's now fitted with a single Royal Enfield pannier and a cheap decat pipe.

Recording Stuff: Insta 360 X3 (with motorcycle kit) (Camera World); Movo Wireless Mini Duo (for sound, Mounted under side panel); Ulanzi MT-58 1.21m Selfie Stick.
