Snowball cake - Bánh bao chỉ | Helen's Recipes

Ingredients (8 cakes)
For the fillings
100g peeled split mung bean ( ½ cup)
¼ cup shredded young coconut (optional)
1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 tbsp sugar
11g vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
¼ tsp salt

For the dough
1 cup glutinous rice flour "Bot Nep" (or sweet rice flour mochiko) 100g
3 tbsp sugar
¼ tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
½ cup coconut flakes (eg. http://amzn.to/10RAsTM)

** You can buy coconut flakes at Western supermarket under baking section or at Asian Store or online at http://amzn.to/10RAsTM. Shredded young coconut (for the filling) can be found frozen at Asian store. You can buy a rice cooker at http://amzn.to/15YoOgo
You can also use a steamer instead of a microwave.
