The jevilish jester comes to Rivals of Aether! Jevil is a glass cannon trickster character with a lot of disjoints. Using his down special, pirouette, he can cycle through several different status effects that may boost or hinder his power, depending on which effect was on your HUD when pressing dspecial.

Other notable mechanics:

Nspecial can be angled by flicking the stick right after shooting the diamond.

Uspecial will have Jevil perform 3 different actions depending on your input.
No input: Jevil will shoot 5 weak spades with no hitstun.
Special Held: Jevil will shoot one stronger diamond.
Parry: Jevil will shoot nothing.

Fspecial can be cancelled at any point within the Devilsknife transformation, which will put Jevil into pratfall while keeping his momentum. You can do this by pressing parry, as well as inputting any aerial, which won't keep as much momentum as the former method. If an attack is inputted, Jevil will only be put into pratfall if the attack is whiffed.
