Sky-Drones team attended the Future Flight Phase 3 Cohort Event in the end of March held in Birmingham. It was a dynamic forum that brought together key stakeholders in the aviation industry to discuss community integration and the role of publics in informing, planning, regulations, and policy. The discussions focused on fostering collaboration between publics, industry, and government to enable the safe and sustainable integration of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and drone services across communities, while mitigating social disbenefits and showcasing potential positive opportunities. The event also covered key themes such as safety regulations, planning, policy, land ownership, legislation, security, privacy, socio-economic value, and environmental concerns, with the aim of setting benchmarks and informing best practices for the future of aviation in the UK 🇬🇧.
Many thanks to Innovate UK (UK Research and Innovation) for hosting the event, especially Vicki Murdie, Simon Masters, Dawn MacGregor, Amy Camp, Rania Raza.
