70 Inch Giant Bull Moose Among a Gang of Moose

Moose Parties! We don’t get to see them very often, but when we do, it can be very entertaining. We shared Libby’s footage from this day a couple weeks ago and today we’ll share mine. While we’re on the subject, Libby and I love to work together, filming from different angles, basically teaming up to get a more well covered job done.

I should point out that this video is out of sequence from our general sharing of the moose rut 2023, it happened late in the rut and we still have plenty to share from the weeks before this day. All the more fun to look forward to.

Moose gatherings are wonderful. Although the animals have resumed feeding at this point, there still can be all kinds of rutting behavior happening, including fights, a chase or two, and even mating if one of the cows in the group has not been bred.

The biggest thing to point out here is what Libby mentioned in the narration. There was a pack of wolves in the area that day. And we’ll share more about that in Moose Party Part 3. Thanks for watching today.
