This is the first video of our bathroom shower remodel. In this video, I show you how to remove an old tub and shower valve; how to cut copper pipe; how to install sharkbite fittings; and how to replace galvanized pipe with pex pipe. This is a longer video than I usually like to make, but there was a lot to this process of replacing an old tub and shower valve made of galvanized steel with pex plumbing, sharkbite fittings, and a brass tub and shower valve. All pipes and fittings are 1/2 inch width. The fittings and measurements used in this video may be different to fit the valve to your plumbing supply lines.
