Exploring the Abandoned Galleries Shopping Centre

In this video, we head inside the recently closed Galleries Shopping Centre in Wigan, Lancashire. Opening in 1988, after years of 'stagnation and decline' the mall was brought back into public ownership by the town's council and closed consequently in an attempt to revitalise the town's middle. Inside, the power worked and many stores still had their displays intact, due to a protecting internal security guard.
