In the wake of the Star Trek: Axanar lawsuit settlement, CBS and Paramount Pictures imposed a set of "guidelines" allegedly meant to assist independent Star Trek filmmakers from stepping too far outside what they deem acceptable. But it is their rules that are unacceptable. In this video I pose seven solutions to the problem.
