Rear Differential Fluid Gear Oil Change - Toyota 4Runner

In this video, I walk through how to change your rear differential fluid. The job is super simple and recommended for heavier vehicles or high mileage vehicles. In my case, I just did a re-gear and needed to change out the oil.

Torque Spec:
Fill Bolt - 24mm head - 36 ft/lb
Drain Bolt - 24mm head - 36 ft/lb

Capacity:
2WD: 2.75 liters (2.91 US qts., 2.42 lmp.qts)
4WD w/o Diff. lock: 2.45 liters (2.59 US qts., 2.16 lmp.qts)
4WD w/ Diff. lock: 2.75 liters (2.91 US qts., 2.42 lmp.qts)
