For the 2000 solo exhibition, "Evidence of My Being" at the Lance Fung Gallery. To create Testimonial, hundreds of postcards were mailed out with the question printed on it "What do you think of Richard Humann?" Participants were asked to anonymously either fill out their answer and mail to the gallery, or call in to a unmonitored answering machine. All answers were transcribed and read in a recording studio by nine readers. The original answering machine tape was destroyed and the artist has never heard the voices of those who called in their comments.
