The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of 7 books written by C.S. Lewis between 1950-1956. The series is full of magical moments, great character arcs and of course it has the great lion, Aslan. In 2005, the first book in the publication order The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was released in theaters marking the first film adaptation of Narnia. This was followed by its sequels Prince Caspian in 2008 and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader in 2010 culminating the ""Pevensie trilogy."" Unfortunately, the series did not continue. At the present, a new series of Narnia is to be adapted under Netflix and is slated for a 2026 release.

Despite the film adaptations ending with the third book in the publication order, the three films still gave us amazing moments and among those, probably the best live action version of a lion.
