The Story of Firehouse: The Last Band to Survive the Death of Glam Metal

Glam Metal was in vogue in the 1980s and slowly began to decline in the early 1990s. One of its last ever bands, Firehouse, made a late entry into the industry by releasing their self titled Debut Album "Firehouse (1990)". Immediately after which they went on to win "Best New Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Band of 1991" at the American Music Awards.

The rising prominence of grunge music, amongst other reasons, was a fatal cause to the death of Glam Metal. This montage and video explains how Firehouse managed to survive the era and still remain relevant.
