To enable Hyper-V on a Windows machine, follow these steps:

Prerequisites:

You must be running Windows 10/11 Pro, Enterprise, or Education editions.

Ensure that hardware virtualization is supported by your system.


Steps to Enable Hyper-V:

1. Verify Virtualization Support:

Open Task Manager by right-clicking on the taskbar and selecting "Task Manager."

Go to the Performance tab.

Check for Virtualization on the bottom-right. If it says Enabled, you're good to go. If it's disabled, you need to enable it in your system's BIOS/UEFI.



2. Enable Hyper-V Using Windows Features:

Press the Windows Key and type run on -Enter.

In the "Windows Features" dialog, scroll down and find Hyper-V.

Check Hyper-V Management Tools and Hyper-V Platform.

Click OK, and Windows will install the required features. You may need to restart your PC.


Run the following step

3. Access Hyper-V:
Enable Hyper-V via the Windows key and type the hyper-v enter button click
Then virtual machines open and use.
