Chromebook Screenshots: March 2021

The Chromebook received a much needed upgrade on the workflow for screenshots and even has a native screen recorder. This video is focusing just on the screenshot capture tool. You can launch it via keyboard commands and also in the system tray. Full-screen, select, and window screen-captures are all featured options and they are automatically copied to your clipboard! (Paste wherever you want without extra clicks.) All screenshots are editable within the Gallery app on the Chromebook so that you can do your usual color adjustments as well as cropping options. What's new is that you can now annotate over the top of them without using a separate tool (Google Keep, Jamboard, etc.).

My favorite feature is the Tote. Your Tote holds recent images that can be quickly pulled into a document or presentation by merely using the drag-and-drop feature.
